The pod was beautifully decorated and comfortable with lots of little thoughtful items stocked for our comfort. We found the location of the pod to be very private with a fenced off garden and pond area that we enjoyed very much. Great location and would highly recommend.

The house was a perfect representation of old meets new with lots of charm and character! It was very well provisioned, with all you need and more in the kitchen, additional chargers for all mobile phones, a smart tv, Alexa’s all around, lots of cleaning supplies, board games (including a Lewis chess board!), books, just everything you might need for your stay and more! There were lots of interesting ornaments around the property giving it a splash of an authentic traditional home, with all we would use in a modern home. We were provided with a coffee machine (including pods), ground beans and french press, teas bags and a lovely basket of Scottish goodies including, porridge, jam, chocolate, biscuits etc. The location was ideal. It was a short walk from beautiful beaches and the famous Butt of Lewis. There were plenty of places to eat/drink including a quirky cafe. We enjoyed watching the lambs running around the Croft across the road. There were sea views from the property on a clear day and a lovely window at the top of the stairs with a day bed to take in the views. The WiFi was great and there was good data and reception in the area. The host was very kind and helpful and which made our stay!

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage at one of the most beautiful ends of the world. Everything you'd need was there - and those views over the sea were fantastic! We were very pleased about the little goodies and the personal welcome card, too. When you're there, don't forget to visit the hosts gallery in the village. We'd love to come back.

    Location was stunning and the house had lots of thoughtful extras, cooking oils, herbs etc.. books, CDs and heaters, as the weather turned cold. Lots of hot water and the downstairs bed was super comfy. Ideally situated for sightseeing. And Minke whales feeding just outside the harbour. Deer aplenty across the island and lots of bird life.

    Amazing location at the top of Lewis - amazing views out across the bay and the mainland. Watching the Gannets diving into the sea is truly special. It is the very top of Lewis so for those like me that fail to do your research(!), just be aware of the time it takes to drive to the rest of Lewis and harris (especially if you have kids!).

    Everything! The location is amazing with brilliant views of the sea. Very warm house, very well equipped and furnished to a good standard. Wifi was also very good, which was a nice surprise considering the location.

    Fabulous accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful location. Very comfortable living area, excellent kitchen and bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Iain, the host, is really approachable and helpful and makes sure that all is going well. Absolutely recommend.

    From the moment of booking our host Iain couldn't be more accommodating, leading up to the visit he kept us informed of how to reach the property, entry and lots of other useful information. Inside the property it was spotless and the facilities were everything you could need. We particularly enjoyed the log burner with plenty of logs and kindling for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the underfloor heating was fantastic for some chillier mornings. THE VIEW is also incredible.

    I loved the north facing location out onto the sea. It was the perfect location to see a sunrise and sunset and the summer dim. i was able to hear the concrake, a bird I had not heard for 35 years. It was just an idealic. I also had freshly baked panckes delivered to me one day by a neighbour.
