Everything was just perfect, as described, clean warm cosy and welcoming. It was immediately obvious that the hosts go out of their way to give guests a perfect overnight stay. Really nice deco too.

Staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, I ended up being a couple hours earlier in selby than I first thought. When I let them know, they made sure to push my room clean forward so I could check in a little earlier than I expected.

Adel was a fantastic host. Nothing was a trouble and so friendly. Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast there as had family staying at Naburn lock caravan park so spent our time there but definitely will next time we book. Can't wait. 👌👏Even little fridge in room with milk etc and complimentary fudge. Unfortunately only had half and forgot to take rest home with me. 😞 Thanks Adel, see you again soon 🥰👌

The view is to die for, the bedroom was snug and the kitchen well appointed. The slipper bath is a delightful luxury. The boiler was off in the morning but the owner came around to fix it and gave us a late checkout to finish bathing.

It was so good to be in a historic building, in a great village. The Land Lady was so kind and helpful. Her dog was also so happy to see visitors. I also slept so well in this cosy accommodation.

    It was a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. It was close to York to travel to. Very clean and tidy. There was food left for us which was so lovely .

    It was in an excellent location, very convenient for visiting York, and Riccall has an excellent Italian restaurant in a converted windmill, which is handy. The property has been converted to a very high standard and is very quiet. The decor was stylish and tasteful. There was a pretty garden and a lovely view over the lake and grounds of the house next door. Apart from the fact that we had a problem with the key box to get in, which the owners sorted quickly, we have nothing negative to report.

    Lovely annex with some great touches! Really quiet and comfortable. We slept really really well. The place was spotlessly clean. We had a Jinnah takeaway on the host’s recommendation which was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

    This property is beautiful! Great location, quiet, peaceful. Has everything you need. Beds comfy, clean fresh towels etc. The host was super friendly, answered any questions prior to our visit. We had a night in Selby, taxis were a struggle via the Selby taxi App, but we called G's taxi and he sent many numbers so all worked out well. Highly recommend and would definitely book again if in the area.

    Lovely welcome hamper left for us and milk and orange juice in the fridge as well as butter and jam. Fluffy dressing gowns provided and the washing up liquid and toiletries smelt lovely. Good location close to York with a bus stop just up the road.
