The decor was stunning, Location was quiet and private, lovely and clean, very comfortable and Damien was so helpful, accommodating and quick with responses to any questions we had. I'm very glad we followed his recommendation to eat at the red lion...food was incredible! The property is very romantic for couples and also spacious outside for children. I loved it there so much, that we decided to stay an extra night. So relaxing and peaceful.

The setting is idyllic. Our room was incredibly comfy after a half day hiking - loved the deep bath and good quality bedding. Dinner was very tasty, great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. The Red Cow pulls off being both a real pub in the community and pretty upmarket place to stay.

    Excellent location for exploring the town. Pleasant historical feel to the building. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were great! Car park (public) was surprisingly cheap at only £3.50 per day.
