Fantastic secluded hideaway, loved the cosy decor. Log burner was so atmospheric and cosy. Little welcome features and small jug of milk so helpful! Will definitely be recommending to others and hope to return sometime ourselves. Beautiful setting close to nearby Battle.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Madeleine’s lovely B&B. The place was spotlessly clean, the shower was great, and every morning Madeleine brought us a delicious fresh breakfast.     The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a drink in the bar after an evening out and we both had a good nights sleep in the large bed. We liked the old building with it's beams and character. It is a very picturesque location with some geese on the green. There was a pub and small local shop.

    Beautiful location, lovely staff, and amazing breakfast. The room was a good size for a family of 4. Had room for us to set up our own portacot and a huge bath. The golf course is stunning and peaceful.

    It was a lovely 16th century Tudor building looking out on the village green. Our room was in the new building it was very clean and spacious with a huge comfortable bed.. the room looked out onto a lovely garden it was also peacefully quiet..the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout..

    Food was excellent, location was ideal in a lovely village and the staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in could do with redecoration and as it had low ceilings unable to stand under the shower but not a problem.
