    Great location between the River Trent and the Trent & Mersey Canal for a canal-side walk and visit a few local pubs and restaurants. Lovely welcome by hosts, our room was spacious, very clean and had a marvelous view of the Trent flowing by. Breakfast was great, we would recommend the Holden House and will be returning there in the very near future

    I stayed in this location for a near by stag night. The reception I received from the lady on arrival, was very pleasant, friendly & polite. The room was very clean, warm & the shower had a good pressure. If I was looking to visit this area again, it would be my first choice. A very big thank you !!!
