Tamara has nailed it, my other half said it's like your best mate has gone away for the weekend and let you stay at her place. Every room is decked out beautifully, we wanted for nothing and we were greeted with a big smile. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in that neck of the woods again.

Beautiful quiet location en route to Audley End house and Thaxted. We were given a very friendly welcome and shown to a comfortable room, exceptionally clean and with all amenities. This was a very last minute booking as I had a four and a half delay on my flight which meant I was basically stranded on my own at Stansted. I booked this as I was going through passport control. I called the property immediately and they picked me up from the airport late at night and took me back to the airport very early the next morning (£14 return). I was extremely grateful for their kindness in a situation where I was very stressed and tired. They also offered to make me a sandwich! The room was beautiful with attention to detail.

    Convenient location for Stansted airport. Booked last minute as it had snowed the night before and didn't fancy driving early hours of the morning figuring it would be safer to drive in the day. Room was compact but more than adequate, bed comfortable, all very clean and well maintained. Parking is limited but there is a public car park less then 5 mins walk away which is free so no complaints what so ever.
