    Lovely cosy cottage with old features and nice quiet location. The pub opposite does amazing food and nice picnic benches on the village green to sit and relax with a glass of wine. The property had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.

    Merchants Yard was excellent in all respects, location accommodation and food. Would highly recommend and we would gladly go back. Plenty of choice for breakfast and evening meal and both were excellent. Staff very friendly and easy to deal with. Room was perfect.

    The location was ideal for visiting the Peak District and we were allocated a named parking space for the duration of our stay. Our room was furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything we could have needed. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant each day and the food was of a consistently high standard and beautifully presented by polite and friendly serving staff. The staff at the reception were friendly and knowledgable, and made us feel special throughout our stay.
