Very clean and well equipped for our overnight stay even had tea coffee sugar , milk and a bottle of water lovely touch! We were able to park our motorbike right outside the property. Very private small house not overlooked by anything or anyone. A lot of love and pride has gone into the house. Although we never met the owners instructions were clear and they were easy reachable

What can I say. The property is sensationel, the food excellent - the beer as well and the staff are simply incredible, helpful, very friendly and competent without exception. I can‘t remember any experience like that and I do travel a lot. You simply feel at home there. Any time again. If it were possible I would allocate 10 points. Thanks

We felt at home immediately. Clean towels, sheets, home was clean. Abundance of teas, hot chocolate and coffee for everyone's taste. Tissues next to the bed so important for me. The beautiful area, garden and exquisite hanging baskets made it very welcome. Can highly recommend it.

Apart from the obvious that you are staying in a historic mansion and get to stroll around in the garden admiring the architecture from every angle: perfect bed, great complementary snack options, kettle for tea and teabags (nice to have peppermint and red berry also), independency to go out anytime (the code system is grear!), AND the small gate option is perfect and solved a little problem for people without a car because the road to the Eagle Gate is rather dangerous on foot.

    It was very clean and modern. The bed was really comfortable and it was a quiet location. There was a shop nearby if you needed to buy anything. There were clear instructions about using the TV, which had streaming channels, so plenty of choice. I found contacting the owner when I needed to straightforward as I had a mobile number and her response was quick. No towels but got some very quickly when I texted.

    Caroline’s place was perfect for the two of us, excellent location close to town very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to everything you could possibly need, Her place is great, decorated to a very high standard, very clean and has everything you could need during your stay. Caroline was also very helpful since the beginning and throughout, available at all times of the day whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend this place and would stay again

    The apartment is fantastic. Brilliantly decorated and with all the bits and pieces that you might need for a self catering stay. The milk and tea bags were appreciated. The host was very responsive and easy to deal with. The apartment is in a great location if you need access to the centre of Trowbridge
