Sophie and Stuart were exceptional hosts. We had the soup on arrival which was delicious. Breakfast was great as well. Would recommend the Lodge to anyone.

The apartment was lovely, small touches like the throws and blankets on the living room sofa etc really made the stay comfortable.

You feel welcome from the moment you make first contact on messages, and even moreso on arrival. They are noninvasive, so if you dont even want to see the hosts, you dont have to. TOTALLY respect your privacy. They are nearby if needed but far enough away you dont see their home  out the view windows and feel safe and so much peace.The location is outstanding. Unique. The amount of details covered to make your stay comfortable and worry free is top of the line! They give super directions to find them, and suggestions for the area. We only wish we had had a longer stay. We will definitely be back. Comfortable bed and couch, great view!!,  tastey accommodating treats in the cabin on arrival, a binderbook that explains everything inside and out, bonus animal interactions if you want! and beautiful surroundings. It makes or breaks a stay on how u are greeted and welcomed. We wanted for nothing.  These people made us feel like we were coming home glad to see us again, not first time stayers like we were. Great private parking area by cabin, lots of exrtas they really thought of everything. You really feel well looked after and at peace there, and that they care about what they are doing and want the best for you while there.🤍 Nice people. We went as a couple; spacious and sparkeling clean looks all new to be honest. Like we were the 1st ever there , but the guest book you can sign proves otherwise. We cant say enough about them and the area! I would go alone or as a couple again....THANK YOU SO MUCH for offering joy and kindness , it flowed naturally from you 2. Cant wait to come back for a longer stay than 1 night. You really made the stay special.

The decor and furnishings of our suite/room was of the highest standard. Breakfast was exceptional. Hosts were very knowledgeable on local points of interest

Friendly and informative greeting on arrival. Helpful with places to have dinner. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully presented with lots of fresh fruit and homemade granola, baked beans and toast for a full breakfast. It is a very pretty homey house - well done Jo.

Fantastic location in a very cozy place

Just what we had in mind. The cottage was tastefully and thoughtfully done up. Located In a scenic surrounding and comfortable to relax in after the day's activities.

Dave and Caren were excellent hosts, friendly, chatty and helpful! Very comfortable and clean room.
