Everything we loved the hotel. The room and the food was excellent it's a little gem set in the fantastic village of Liddington surrounding areas are old wordly and lovely bede house is only up the Rd as is kirby hall. Both with the English heritage both are well worth a visit

It’s located in a very sweet little town in the middle of a beautiful countryside. The owner is absolutely marvelous and he makes you fresh breakfast at a time of your choice and a coffee was excellent.     Its location and its price couldn’t have been any better for me and the property also allowed my dog to stay in the room for an extra £10 which was ideal. Although everything is very basic, all you need is there for a nights stay.

    Large room very clean. Large comfortable clean bed. Large comfy sofa. I requested a room at the end of the coridoor so as not to be disturbed by other guests walking passed, and the hotel obliged. The room was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep. They provide a wall heater if it's too cold, and a fan if it's too hot. Free parking. Good Wi Fi. Good simple self serve continental breakfast included in the cheap price. Even use of the microwave any time if you wanted a microwave meal in the evening.

    Room was a decent size, clean and location ideal to travel around. Indian restaurant nextdoor served good food but you will have to travel several miles to eat at restaurant or pub.The saving grace is that this hotel is very reasonably priced.

    We leave just outside Sunderland and visit family in N London. Ideal place to rest in between locations. You don't want to spend a fortune. This place was cheap and clean.
