Easy to book a one night stay with easy to contact and helpful owners. This is a geat location which feels very private but has easy access to the local village (3mile drive) for food and drinks. From the hut there's lovely views of the surrounding countryside and we hit lucky with awesome night sky views and nocturnal wildlife including bat's and owls. The hut its self is well converted and laid out with everything you need for a relaxing sort break, the outdoor seating and log burner was perfect on a cool evening watching the stars. There's an easy to access hardstanding allocated parking space behind the hut with gravel path to the door so no wet or muddy feet. Couldn't fault our stay and can highly recommend.

    Cosy, relaxed apartment with all the facilities to make it feel like a home away from home. It was spotlessly clean for our stay. Good central location, within walking distance to Battlesteads Pub/Observatory and short car journeys to Northumberland National Park and Hexham/Corbridge. Would stay again in the future!

    Perfect for our needs. We came to chill out for a few days and the property was ideal. The 2-bed ground floor apartment is big enough for 4 people and a dog, everything done to a very high standard and spotlessly clean, well stocked shop across the road and battlesteads pub just around the corner. Didn’t need the log burner as the apartment is really cosy anyways. Staff were around and always very friendly although we didn’t actually need them for anything. Will definitely rebook.
