The best hotel crew you could dream of! We stayed at Lamala for three nights and had the very best hotel experience during our Georgia trip. The location at the bottom of the valley at the foot of the mountain is absolutely outstanding. At Lamala you will meet the warmest, kindest and most helpful host and staff you could ever dream of. Every room has it’s own balcony and is nice and clean. The hotel has the cutest dogs who will follow you on your hike, if you like some company. If you like a challenge, try and ask them to play backgammon.

We stayed 5 nights and everything was perfect - room was fresh and clean. Mattress was excellent and bed linen was so comfortable, that I really enjoyed sleeping in this hotel. Breakfast was great too - it was good variety, tasty and different options every day. People are the best here - they really helped us with our needs. And view is 360 degrees mountains - beautiful.

We received a warm welcome from the friendly family who runs the guesthouse, instantly making us feel at home. The guesthouse is in the best location, offering a fantastic view of the Usba mountain from our bedroom window with no obstructions. It's really easy to go on a hike to the Ushbi and Shdugra waterfalls as the road is right outside the guesthouse. We also had the pleasure of meeting their two amazing and super-friendly dogs named Beku and Bobi, who joined us on our hike to the waterfalls and back. The dinner and breakfast were simple but authentic, giving us a taste of the local culture. We want to thank Bacho and the family for their conversations, stories, and kind hospitality. Our parents also visited and were just as happy. We look forward to coming back next time!

Phenomenal stay, gorgeous mountain views, comfortable rooms, delicious food and generous hosts + We had a phenomenal stay at Gethauz afrasidze The property is beautiful and remote with gorgeous views of Mts. Ushba and Mazeri; the hosts were immensely generous, accommodating, and flexible and prepared one of the most delicious dinners we had in all of Georgia so we were fueled for long hikes in Svaneti. I’d highly recommend getauz afrasidze for the most idyllic and comfortable stay in Mazeri.
