The hotel is absolutely incredible - it far exceeded my expectations. The owner has created a unique environment where you can totally relax and enjoy the artistic, bohemian atmosphere he has created. Truly remarkable. The staff were superb and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and everything is available you could think of. I think the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and you felt like a queen in the four-poster with a step to get in and out of, plus mosquito netting around (although no mosquitoes at all). Breakfast was like a banquet eaten outside on the rooftop and exceeded any expectation - a bargain for 10 Euros. Anything can be arranged - a driver to take you out on a day-trip and back to the airport. This really was the icing on the cake for my first time trip to the Gambia and I'm already looking to book a return trip. Fabulous for anyone who enjoys creativity and having an authentic experience.

The location is a bit hidden, but well located in a quired area. It is safe and locked and car can be put inside the compound. The apartment has two rooms and a bathroom, so it is spacious and comfortable. The owner is very quick in answering any questions and booking was easy. There is also a taxi driver available, who can get you around or can pick/drop you at the nearby Airport. The people taking care there are very helpful in all topics. A small shop and a good local restaurant can be found within 10 mins walk. I recommend the place
