Very friendly and helpful owner. Nice location steps away from the sea and the hot spring. It is a basic hotel but what else do you need on such a magic place like Ikaria.

Nice hotel, very clean, I had a beautiful view of the sea and the lovely town.I didn't sample breakfast so can't comment on that. Nice little plunge pool which I did use. Staff were very friendly and it was no problem when I requested to extend my stay. My only issue was the steep climb after coming up 70 steps but it didn't spoil my stay.

Dimitris is a very kind and helpful host, he welcomed us very well, he let us check in early. Anna was also very helpful, we thank them both very much. Our room was very clean and tidy, the balcony was overlooking the sea and it was very enjoyable, the location of the hotel is right in the center... We definitely recommend it.

A simple room, but super clean and with everything you need. They even have a small comunal kitchen that you can cook small meals. A small walk to the hot springs and to a small beach. A few restaurants and cafes around. Perfect!

Was a very leisurely 5 min walk after our ferry. And there was absolutely no issue with checking in even considering we arrived in Ikaria at 11.30pm. The pictures do not do justice to how beautifully designed the rooms were. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Thank you, guys!

We are currently staying in Karavostamo but fancied a change of scenery. I had holidayed in Greece for 21 of the 26 years together, but recently my partner died and I have found it difficult to settle this year. The Mesaktis Rooms were exactly what I needed. A beautiful tranquil setting, our terrace looked down on to a small lagoon. The owners gave me and my friend homemade lemonade and the most delicious homegrown figs, which we consumed whilst overlooking the lagoon, which was home to over 30 turtles! We were given bread with which to feed them. What a sight to feast your eyes on while we drank our delicious lemonade! The accommodation is rustic, it’s not luxurious, but it’s what we both loved about this place. There are tavernas beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple meal. There are tavernas maybe 5 minutes walk away, a mini market next door, and over the road there is probably the best beach on Ikaria - Mesaktis beach. At the far end is a lagoon in which you can see even more turtles! The hosts, as you may have picked up on, were so generous and warm. I miss the place, the kittens and Sadi the dog already. This has been the standout experience so far of this 3 week Greek island hopping trip. I absolutely loved it, and it helped me along in my grief journey. To the owners: thank you for your hospitality, for letting me leave the car on your premises after we had checked out, and sorry for taking the room key!

    The location was up a steep hill so for some a car will be essential. Walks to beaches are many and quiet. and walking to Therma there are loads more beaches and wild life. The local super market is for sale (closed) so on arrival to the island get plenty of food and drink. Several tavernas at Faros beach (in walking distance)

    Very quiet location with lovely sea views set in beautiful gardens. The room was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Eleni and her husband were very helpful. We only stayed one night as we had a flight booked to Athens but I would have liked to stay longer in such a peaceful setting.

    The breakfast was delicious. The owner is the consummate host who has a real sense of Ikarian hospitality. The room was very clean and thoughtfully arranged so that it had everything we could have needed. The location is perfect just a hundred yards or so from the beach. Evon was very helpful in planning our time on the island and offered us a host of great tips.
