Nice old school hotel (in good condition, clean). Very pleasant service (people on site, cleaners every day), beautiful views, beach right next to the hotel, no extra charge (dog stay, beach umbrellas). Parking available, wifi works. At first we booked for one night, but we stayed for two more because this hotel and location are a real gem of the southern region. Don't imagine 5 stars (with pools, free alcohol and massage), it's 4 stars and very very good. We have stayed in about 30 hotels across Crete and this one is a really good choice for this region - price/quality ratio, attitude, location on the beach. The funniest thing is that 10 km away is Matala (oversaturated with tourists and expensive) and then you discover such a gem as Kalamaki, kilometers of empty sandy beach right in front of the hotel, and no tourist traps, You have here really authentic taverns, a few cute shops, a beautiful village right on the beach. I've just told you a secret :) And thanks to the hotel owners who organized a very nice free lunch for the guests on Easter.

Very good contact with the ovner Mrs. Tarsia! Tarsia is very supportive. The rooms are typically cretan style, simple but extremely clean. The kitchen area is very good equipped. Very safe location. Close to the beach. Vis a vis - swimming pool. All you need for a comfortable stay 💯 Thank you!

Super spacious and super clean. Excellent terrace and balcony outside. Way bigger than the photos even show it to be. Host was super lovely also. Would highly recommend you stay here. The property is bang in the middle of a small village and very close to matala and other beach’s. The village has lots of restaurants and bars and a square where there is some live music and offers a very local family vibe.

    Beautiful villa ideal location close to local shops, restaurants & beach. Nikos host was very knowledgeable & was hand for anything you needed. When we arrived Nikos had left us with essentials like water, fruit, bread wine & when we were departing he gave us a basket with local products in. Had a fantastic stay & will be returning.

    The location was far away from the touristic masses of Crete, which was exactly what we wanted. Just next to a quiet rocky beach, great peaceful garden for bbq evenings, hammocks, nice outdoor shower. Kitchen appliances were a bit outdated, but still functioning properly. Everything was very clean. Better beaches and a supermarket a short drive away. In general, we had a great quiet family stay.

    The villa was beautifully furnished. In a great location right in the centre of Kalamaki. A super pool and very clean and comfortable throughout. We were a fanily with two couples 3 children and another adult. There was ample room for all. Our host Daniela was extremely responsive to our requests and we enjoyed our week very much.

    Having two bedrooms was ideal for us with very comfortable beds. The cooking facilities were good and the sitting/dining room was spacious. The property manager welcomed us and was very helpful and friendly. Good location with mountain and sea views. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, cafes and shops.
