BananaHouse is the perfect stay in Kefalonia for more than one reason. Firstly the owners, Liverous, Nikki, Kostas, Joana and Dafne are the nicest family and the most perfect host that you can meet. They have a vegetable farm with organic grown tomatos and veggies that taste like childhood. Secondly the location, settled just a few steps near Lourda beach in natural shadows all around the house, where you can find a few tropical trees beside the bananas, there is papaya tree, orange and olive tree and a lot more, a little pieace of heaven. Thirdly the beach - Lourda beach has light blue colour is big with clear water and you can find sun beds or place where you can stay beside them. If you dont like big beaches right behind the path of the beach, there is another one almost empty with few turtle eggs nest. Also is a good starting point to explore the island. The house has a parking and right next to it a supermarket, also good coffee shops in one minute walking, tavernas and one of the best beer bar in the island (Platanos). The internet was very fast and stable. Hot water all the time. BananaHouse is a small jewel on the island. Just perfect!!!

We stayed in this house for a week and absolutely loved it! Everything was very clean, cozy and thoughtfully arranged - we felt right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and truly welcoming. A special thank you to the host, who treated us to her homemade pastries almost every day - it was such a lovely and delicious surprise! Many thanks for the warm hospitality and a wonderful stay. We definitely recommed staying here!

Cozy and nice place to stay for a week or two. The villa has a huge terrace to spend evenings. The host have a style and you can feel friendly welcome. The villa is near the road, but it strangely enough you won't feel it. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed for two nights but wish it could be a week

We LOVED our stay at Trapezaki Garden Villas! The view from the villa is absolutely breath-taking, the villa and surrounding were immaculate and very tranquil, the swimming pool is lovely and the vegetable garden a real bonus (fresh tomatoes, aubergines, basilicum!). The location is really handy for all sorts of outings. Amanda was super helpful in giving tips, even before we arrived. We (a family with 2 teenagers) highly recommend Trapezaki Garden Villas!

Beautiful hotel perched on steep hillside overlooking Ithaca. Colourful quaint rooms with nice balconies, ours with fab sea view, fridge with complimentary mini Prosecco and great air conditioning. Also some villas with pools dotted around. Nice breakfast overlooking sea. Easy ten minute stroll into Agia Effimia for dinner - also fab taverna just outside hotel gates. Need to mention everywhere accessed by VERY steep paths and steps so check where rooms are carefully before booking if any mobility problems as some rooms are closer to main areas.

The little house is very cozy and welcoming! It is situated in a quiet village and very well placed regarding the distances to the beaches in this part of the island and taverns. The owner, Elena, is very warm and helpful; after 3 days of staying we received fresh towels, shits and they cleaned into the house (we never had this type of facility when booking a house at this price, so it was a nice surprise), the yard was constantly kept tidy. We will definitely choose it again when we return to Kefalonia!

    The villa was in a great location for access to beaches and local villages, supermarkets and restaurants as well as short drive from Argostoli. It was very clean and modern and very well kept inside and out with cleaners and gardeners visiting every couple of days and the views were fantastic. It is a very private and peaceful place!

    The location was the selling point of the villa. Garden was lovely and private. Pool well maintained. Reported the beds being so hard leaving us with bad backs in the mornings but it was promptly dealt with when they provided a mattress topper.

    Unique hospitality, very clean and cosy place. Big rooms and bathroom. Cool inside besides high temperature outside. Fully equipped kitchen and huge refrigerator and freezer. Nice view to the mountain. Ideally for a family stay! Very close to wonderful beaches around , in 5-10' distance by car. Easy parking outside the house.

    Lovely countryside villa in peaceful location. The owners welcomed us warmly. Location was quiet and a short drive from several excellent beaches. House was very clean and well appointed with homely decor throughout. Looking forward to our next visit!

    Lovely villa with beautiful views down to the sea. Spacious bedrooms and ideal for a family of 4. Very friendly welcome from the keyholder and nice touches of fruit and essentials on our arrival. Spotlessly cleaned and a very well maintained external space and pool. Private and quiet location, we had an amazing time

    The property was very clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, there was a lot of storage space and the kitchen had all the listed amenities. The location is great for quick access to the main road that leads to you to Lassi, the other roads and the beaches. The host, Marilena, was very kind and attentive, and offered/provided new bed sheets and towels. Overall highly recommend this accommodation, especially for families that want quick access to both the centre of Argostoli and the beaches.
