This is the best apartment I've ever stayed in during my trip to Europe. The host is the most enthusiastic and friendly person I've ever met. She prepared everything I needed for me! Everything in the apartment is so perfect - clean and big beds, beautiful gardens and a sunny living room. It's only a few steps away from the beach. Living here is definitely a good start to your trip to Crete!

The apartment was spacious, very clean and newly refurbished. Lovely views and plenty of space for a family of 4. Close to the beach, great restaurants and really quiet. Dimitris and his family were so warm, friendly & helpful. We used the pool at Yamas (in front) and just bought drinks there. A perfect 10 days!

This place is like a little oasis with its lovely style, comfortable rooms&balcony, and a gorgeous garden with trees, sunshades, and loungers overlooking the sandy beach. It is super close to the town center, packed with shops and restaurants that stay open very late. Effi was awesome from the moment we arrived. She was there to greet us and had many great suggestions for activities and beaches we’d love. You could always reach her either online or in person, which was super convenient. We had great chats about tennis too…:) When the apartment parking was full, she got us a spot in an underground garage just a 5-mins walk away. On our last night, she hosted a bbq with Greek food and wine for everyone. While we did check out other beaches in Crete, honestly, just hanging out at the apartments and in Platanias would have made for a perfect getaway all by itself. It’s definitely a place worth coming back to! Plus, the kids adored the friendly cats that hang around nearby.

Fantastic apartment by the sea and big balcony that you can use almost the whole day in shade. Perfectly clean. Host is always around to help. In the corner of this small street there is great restaurant and coctail bar aswell as grocery shop. There is a restaurant by the apartment building too. If I come back to Platania, I will come back to this apartment for sure.

    The location was amazing for the purpose of our trip and upon arrival we we greeted very enthusiastically showing us around the stay. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure everything was very clean consistently. The air-conditioning worked amazing especially when it was super hot. Close to the bus station, beach and food is available everywhere.
