Found this little gem while looking for a 3 night stay in Skiathos, the location, the pool, the beach and the little boat that takes you into the old port was fantastic plus the restaurant Sorocos on the beach was excellent, The owners of the hotel were lovely, always had time for a chat also 😁

The views from our balcony were beautiful, a lovely place to sit and watch the sparkling Aegean and the boats sailing by. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing, great water pressure! The restaurant is a must for dinner, with incredible food and views. Excellent location close to town.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect and view is astonishing. The host is phenomenal - in all my years of using Booking I have never experienced such hospitality and kindness. She answered almost immediately all my text messages. I strongly recommend staying there if you would like to have such an amazing experience.

We have been visiting Greece 2-3 times a year for 20 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed! The price is not cheap, but you get more than what you paid for! The hotel is either new or recently renovated. Even the smallest details have been thought of. We had at our disposal, in addition to the two terraces of the apartment, a common terrace with soft furniture! Every day they provided us with cold mineral water, Nespresso capsules and small snacks! Daily cleaning, change of towels and sheets! The hosts are always available, without being intrusive. Close to the coastal street, but very quiet. Between stops 0 and 1. For those who take the bus, it is super convenient - 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes walk to the airport. If we visit Skiathos again, we have "our place!"

Great location to relax, with a nice view on the bay. the room was completely renovated, fresh, clean and cozy. Dimitri, the host, welcomed us warmly and he was very kind and insightful, sharing daily tips to enjoy our staying to the max.

The hotel is in a perfect location, very central, yet with excellent soundproofing. The cleanliness is outstanding; towels and toiletries like shampoo are refreshed daily. The reception staff are very attentive, always willing to help with any questions or issues. They also provide great recommendations for beaches and restaurants on the island. Very professional—10 out of 10! :)

We stayed at Althaea for a week as a family and we were perfectly satisfied with the property. The rooms were immaculate on arrival and beautifully cleaned each morning. The staff were super helpful and kind, helped us with local recommendations, taxi bookings etc. While breakfast is not included in the stay, the property’s cafe has excellent breakfast options which was very convenient. The location is also great! It is a 2min walk to the beginning of the main “shopping” street, 15mins walk from the old port and 10min taxi from the airport. We would choose Althaea again if we came back to Skiathos!

    Considering it is fairly cheap it’s pretty good value. The pools bigger than it looks in the pictures and you can have it to yourself in peak season it’s certainly not busy.

    The lady at reception was lovely and friendly. We loved the location as it's a quiet less touristy beach. The apartment has a hob and fridge so we could cook which was a plus. There was space outside the apartment to eat under an olive tree with a sea view.

    Location was perfect for us, close to the beach, size of the apartment was great for our family. Loved the bedrooms were on a different level from the living area. Staff were fantastic and super attentive. Loved the underpass to the beach, pool was a great size and ideal we had our own. Beds were comfy. Aircon was super efficient.

    Special mention to Kostas, his brother, his nephew and the rest of the team. They make you feel at home. Very heart welcoming team. The hotel has an ideal location if you are looking for relax. Quiet atmosphere and surroundings. We had a room with very nice views to the sea and beds were very comfortable! Good wifi. But let me express again our gratitude to the staff.

    we had an amazing holiday at Golden king villas. The villa was spotless and the location was perfect. we were picked up at the airport which was great and the host was so friendly and helpful. The maids were lovely, always happy and kept everything gleaming and we had fresh towels daily. The beach was easily accessible through the underpass and the water taxi was great to ferry us back and forth to town. The town was amazing with loads of shops, bars and restaurants. we will definitely be back.
