Everything was great to be honest. Superb design and facilities, not only practical but beautiful. Staff over the top: one amazing girl at the reception took care and disinfected a wound I had a few times. The owner, whom I talked to, was very kind and polite. I could have stayed at my friend’s house this night but I really wanted to try this hostel, which I didn’t regret. Set in attractive grounds in a small, typically Guatemalan community just outside (5 minutes by Uber) from the centre of Antigua, with stunning views of hills and volcanoes. Casa Buho is a family run bed and breakfast hotel with exceptional quality rooms. This was a great place to stay as we had already spent a month in town, but would also be good if you want to be away from the noise and bustle of the town.

All of the staff were very friendly and were able to assist with any questions. It is located in a quieter part of town but still easy to walk to the main attractions. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. I stayed in an all female dorm which was very comfortable with individual locker storage under the bed. The room had its own bathroom. Everything is well maintained and kept clean. The wifi was strong when I needed to do some work.

    This place is great value for money! The women working at the hotel was all so lovely, they kept it VERY clean, they arranged cheap transport for us, and kept our luggage safe while we did overnight hikes. We really enjoyed our stay and kept extending! Great location too.

    Selina is a special place. We had a provate room at the 1st floor, which I can only recommend. Not cheap but beautiful, spacious and very clean. The whole hotel and the common areas are beautiful, nicely decorated with a lot of services (co-wotking space, common kitchen open 24h, small swimming pool, hammocks in the garden, library, bar and restaurant, etc.) and events. Location in town is good, close to lots of cafés and restaurants. Staff is very helpful and friendly

    Beautiful place! The room was spacious and the shower had great water pressure and was nice and warm. Location is in central Antigua, really perfect. The price was cheap, might have been because it's low season and booking, but for us it was a great deal. Breakfast is a selection between five different things, which varied from eggs or Omlette to toast with jam or fruits. Unfortunately the milk for the coffee cost extra (not much, but still a bit weird?).
