Travelled by car (would highly recommend local Budget car hire for travel to Tikal) but a collectivo will drop you right outside Mon Ami (this collectivo is mostly morning or evening, and also picks up at the bus-stop just outside the airport; used it for return to Mon Ami after returning the car). Same collectivo drops off at the Ixlu junction for onward travel to Belize (very good collecivo service on that route).Guest review byalanFamily with young children

I also liked the fact that there were different light options and multiple power outlets. The owner was very nice and friendly. The lake area was great for a dip or to watch the sunset.
