From the moment we arrived at the airport to the very last day of our stay, the team at Bleu Mathis ensured everything was seamless and perfectly taken care of. From drivers, to boatmen, to masseuse to the hospitality staff, the whole team has gone way and beyond our expectations. The staff’s warmth and efficiency stood out—always quick to serve and going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Khairul for taking my cousin and me on a memorable kayaking trip while making sure we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout. Another huge thank you to Ifan for his attentive care, helping us assimilate to the resort from day one right until check-out. Though we didn’t catch all their names, the entire team was incredibly friendly and genuinely warm. Bleu Mathis truly knows how to make guests feel at home—thank you for such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!

We extended our stay 3 times and would love to come back in the future. We stayed in a bungalow and in the private pool villa. Both were beautifully built and tastefully decorated. The pool and restaurant area, as well as the beach in front of the property were very inviting and well kept. However, what stood out for us during our stay was the incredible group of staff working here! They made us feel welcome the second we set fot on the island and made our stay very pleasant! We were travelling with our 9 month old baby, and were glad to have a travel cot provided. The property also had a large selection of toys. Most importantly, the wonderful staff were spoiling him with attention during our entire stay. The food was another highlight! We tried several items on the menu and were very happy with them all, especially the local dishes. A special thank you to Habibi, Taki and Andi for being so incredible with Julian, it meant a lot to us!

Newly revamped, the owners have made this place feel like a home away from home. The perfect relaxed island vibe. The rooms are perfect, equipped with ac (wooho) the bathrooms are clean, with a modern finish… not your typical island bathroom! KoKoMo is a really special place: So, highlights: The staff- incredible service, effort, natural engagement, friendliness. Everyone we met (I wish I had the word-count to acknowledge everyone!) was so great, and it made our stay super-special. There is obviously a real focus on training high-level customer engagement, and it really pays off - thank you! A special acknowledgment needed for attention to detail - I had mentioned in a standard email organising transport, that our wedding anniversary was on the penultimate night. Without any further input from me, they organised a private end-of-the-jetty, candlelit dinner along with flowers, speaker etc…all as a lovely surprise. Above and beyond! The food: we read the good reviews, but still managed our expectations - after all, it’s a very small island (and we live in SE Asia, so experience the lack of access to ‘modern supply chain’) - however, we were overwhelmed to discover the chef and team are truly accomplished, and exceeded our expectations every day. They even grow their own greens and herbs - delicious! Great balance of Asian and western choices, always cooked beautifully. Again- thank you- it really made our holiday special. Accommodation: we stayed in the 2-bedroom villa. It is fabulous…very, very spacious living area and outside space, super-comfortable huge bed and choice of bedding, large bathroom, gorgeous pool….all-round superb. Activities: we loved our boat trip, and found the snorkeling fabulous. Kokomo has a fab boat set up - beanbags to sit on to make the cruising between snorkel spots really relaxing. They also set up table, chairs, napkins, plates etc on a deserted beach for our ‘picnic’ lunch-very fun indeed! Having a tennis court was also a bonus for us. The main pool is delightful. Location: Gili Gede is a quiet and very local island…it is not there to service tourists, but all the locals we met were super-friendly. The scenery is stunning.

We stayed at Norman’s place by the Secret Gilis and also booked a private snorkeling trip, and it was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is cozy, very clean, and run with so much care that you instantly feel at home. The snorkeling tour was the real highlight. Norman knows all the beautiful spots away from the crowds. We saw turtles, colorful corals, and countless fish in a very relaxed atmosphere. He takes his time, explains a lot about the marine life, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Thank you, Norman, for your warm hospitality and unforgettable experiences. We will definitely be back!

Oh my gosh!!! This place was just paradise on earth! From the spacious villa with beautiful views over the beach and islands, the lush gardens, beautiful pool at the end of a magical path up the garden, surrounded by wilderness, to the amazing, friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile (literally as Ahir collected a prescription for us in Matara when our son had an ear infection and purchased papayas for us from the market when he learned that we loved them) The location is really rural, quiet and tranquil but a boat was called for us whithin 15 min when we wanted to head out to the islands. I would recommend having a car or motorbike to explore the surrounding area. This was my favourite stay in our month in Lombok and if we’re ever lucky enough to return, it will be on top of my list for a re-visit. Thank you Ahir and the rest of the staff for the most wonderful, memorable stay 🙏🏼

The AC! The breakfast, the free water refills and most of all long conversations with Sofie who is a wonderful host. Her husband can organise snorkel tours on his own boat for very good prices also tours and transfers to Lombok. There is one warang on this side of the island.

Large room, clean, great money for value! and they will provide everything you need. We did a 5 Island snorkeling tour (full day) for 300 rupiah/person and it was the best of my entire life! turtles, giant squids, nemos, sea horses!

Both the room and the bathroom (with a huge tub) are wide, and all comforts available, including good wi fi connection. The staff is incredobly kind and welcoming, they really made us feel at home.
