Kurnis Cabin is the best place on Lombok that we stayed at. It is located in a smaller, authentic village sorrounded by mountains and rice terraces. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with everything you need. But the best was the Host. Didik is so energetic and fulfilled all of our wishes. Whether you want to relax, immerse yourself into the culture or go on a variety of hikes, THIS is the place to stay! He offers many experiences, also including Mt. Rinjani. As we did not have enough time. We did a beautiful day hike to Mt Kondok. The next day we did a walk around the village and Didik showed us the daily life of local people. He and his friend Ewa have a coffee company that supports the community. Ewa explained us the complicated process from plant to a cup of coffee. Definitely try the honey variety. Lastly the food that Didik cooks for breakfast and for dinner is absolutely delicious. Two of the best meals we‘ve eaten in Indonesia. All in all we do not have a single complaint. Next time we come to Lombok, I wouldnt mind staying here a week.

I spent 3 incredible days at La Cabaña, and my friends went back a few weeks later. The hosts are simply amazing. They welcome you like family and offer plenty of great suggestions. They also organize activities for you and truly do everything they can to ensure you have an exceptional stay. On top of their generosity, the view from the site is absolutely astonishing. You get stunning views of the mountains, and the area is incredibly peaceful. It was a unique experience, combining the discovery of local culture with quiet moments immersed in nature. I will definitely come back!

It's a unique experience for those who want to know more about the Sasak life and enjoy the beauty of the place. It was our best experience in Lombok. Wonderful hosts who let us cook Gado Gado with them (including gathering some wild ingredients), treated us with kindness and respect, and taught us much about the region's history. Owner used to be a Rinjani guide for a long time. They are indigenous to the area and have great respect for the land. Plenty of hot water, clean, and safe. Excellent location to start any of the nearby hikes or mountain climbs. Best coffee I have had in all of Asia in 10 years of travel. They also provide a driving service and have a lot of knowledge about where to find things you need or how to get places.

What an incredible place and experience !!! Our holiday in Lombok did not disappoint. We found the HK staff very proffesional, funny, always to help, friendly and great. The breakfast was good. Our only regret-not staying longer. The property has the magnificent views and weather quite cool in the morning and night.. We look forward to returning again. It was Fun !

We liked everything about our stay. The bungalows are so cute and cozy with a great view over the rice fields from their own little balcony/porch. But what I will remember the most was how friendly and welcoming every one was! We booked a cooking class and the coffee and coconut oil making class and it was just so much fun and such a great and authentic experience. I can't wait to come back and I will genuinely miss not only this place but also the people here!
