Friendly family. Delicious food and so much fruit. Great location, garden is very well kept. Owner set up a guided tour for us to see orangutans in the nearby forest which we really enjoyed.

AMAZING stay in there. Everything was perfect : the trek, the guest house, the restaurant (so good food) and the staff. Cooking staff, jungle guides, manager, driver, they are all very nice, funny and always happy to help. The organisation is very good. GO GO GO ;)

We loved our hostess Tia and the other people who work at Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges, they we're all so helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed to be a little more secluded as the lodge is up between the trees, but still in walking distance of everything you need. The accommodation also had a good restaurant!

This was a totally perfect stay in Bukit Lawang and if I could give this an 11 I would! Brian and his family are all so helpful and kind, answering any questions we had and making us feel at home at their beautiful guest house. We arrived and Brian helped us organise a two day, one night jungle trek which completely exceeded all of our expectations. The team were extremely knowledgable about the rainforest, stopping to tell us not only about all the incredible animals, but also the fauna we saw on our way. The food both on the trek and at the guest house was delicious! Can't recommend this place highly enough

Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close . For our family, Bukit Lawang was absolutely one of the best places best have ever been. The stay at Jungle Life Guesthouse was superb. We ended up staying 2 weeks, so we got a much fuller cultural experience getting to know the owners. Alek is very friendly and enthusiastic, and Nabil was very attentive and helpful. They were great organizers of our 2-day jungle trek. (Which can be physically challenging, but if our nearly 60 year old mom can do it, so can you!) They were hosts who went out of their way for us on multiple occasions. We loved our experience at jungle life guest house and hope to be back.

Best place in Sumatra. In the middle of the jungle, very cosy place to stay for enjoy the nature. There is river where you can swim, the food was very good and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and kindly. We did the 3 day 2 night trekking into the jungle with two amazing guide and we definitely recommend this experience. They know a lot about the jungle and they take care of you during all the trip. Thank you very much for making our stay an amazing moment.

I loved my stay here! The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. I can’t wait to come back again 🙂 Terima kasih 🙏

    The stay was perfect. The room was very comfortable and the location was excellent. The breakfast was great and the people were so helpful and friendly. Very well organized, Dedy Cool letting us know in advance the distance from the airport and helping with getting to the hotel. We did the one day tour and it was provided by fantastic tour guides who were extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest and Orangutangs. We would highly recommend.
