I was very impressed by the two owners, Arno and Angi, who were a wealth of information about the surrounding area but also incredibly welcoming - a trait extended to all the Rimba team. The main lounge area is quite something; a large wooden deck set in a beautiful bamboo and wood house, with an incredible view of the gardens and Lokon Volcanoe beyond. The food was outstanding, I particularly loved the Indonesian curry and satay dishes, just fabulous. Arno and Angi also took me and other guests to the local bar which played live music and it was great to get a feel for the local area. There are also bikes for rent and a range of outings for you to do, but also solo options. I'll definitely be doing a day package when I return! It's a home away from home, run by lovely human beings, supported by some wonderful pooches and cats, set amongst beautiful surroundings. Ten out of Ten.

This place is amazing. The best part is definitely the location - it's completely tucked away in nature and you get the most beautiful view over Mount Lokon and the fishing pond/garden. Yet, you are close by the town still and everything you need (including cafes and restaurants) is within walking distance. The other part that makes this place amazing is the staff. They are so so friendly and willing to help you with anything! Will definitely stay here again!!

Good for family or group of friends. Surrounded by beautiful nature with stunning view of mount Lokon. Unfortunately they don't come to clean the rubbish bin every day and we have to refill the water ourselves. Facilities are good enough, only there is no cupboard to store the clothes.

It was one of the best breakfast we've had, a lot of options on local food and the Christmas cookies was the best! Hotel staffs from check in, room boy, restaurant were helpful and always smile. Room, bathroom and toilet are clean. Water runs fine for wash dishes and shower. Free drink water is so good. Plenty of parking spots and hotel is accessible from the city central.

Set on a mountain with views of natural scenery, Gardenia Country Inn is a 10-minute drive from Tomohon Traditional Market.

Gardenia Country Inn is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Tomohon. Great rooms with stunning views of Mount Lokon, and set in beautiful gardens. The food at the restaurant was great, and again great views, and Leslie provided excellent service throughout - very attentive and was able to line up a guide at short notice for us to hike Mount Tomohon.

Located 650 metres above sea level, Highland Resort and Spa enjoys fresh and cool mountain climates with views of the famous Mount Lakon.
