The place is beautiful, by the sea, with a lovely external area for warm days. Breakfast in the conservatory is excellent, both for the food and the view. Phil is an amazing cook! Joe is helpful and kind and together with their daughter they make wonderful hosts! The room has a window with view on the bay and has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

This is a lovely apartment with a really nice view over Glandore Harbour. The decor is lovely and the apartment has everything you could need and more. The host is clearly experienced. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and all the little provided items - everything from the eco hand soaps to the teas and coffees - were super quality.

    The castle is in the most beautiful and peaceful location and there are lovely walks in the grounds. Our room (Army) was wonderful as it had a balcony overlooking the sea with a table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Very friendly staff too. In short - a fabulous place to stay!

    Stellar!! So comfortable, so beautiful. A level of detailed cleanliness that is on par with any 5 star hotel. The location is so amazing. Beautiful, secluded scenery, yet only 100 yards from the village restaurant and local bar. Genuinely welcoming and friendly staff. I'm looking forward to our next visit

    I'm not really one for B&Bs, but staying in a Castle was something I had to do and so glad I did. The Castle is amazing, the host is amazing, location is amazing and the breakfast was the best of our trip.

    Amazing location and beautiful accommodation, full delicious breakfast included. Sharon was so nice and helpful and created a lovely relaxed atmosphere at the unique and historic Castle. The twin room was spotless with lovely views. Gorgeous walks in nature on your doorstep. Great value for money and a lot of thought and love has gone into making this place so special, would definitely stay here again, thanks Sharon! 🎊

    The venue is everything you would want in a country house hotel. Location is excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, the venue is an adult only facility,. so it is nice and quiet and the view across Castlehaven harbour is serene.
