Our host Michael was conducting renovations but kept a ground floor room available for us due to our early booking. The property is wonderfully historic and backs onto the River Nore, with on site parking and our double room was very comfortable. Michael provided us with a cooked breakfast each morning in the picturesque upstairs breakfast nook. My wife alternated between the salmon omelette and muesli with yoghurt while I plumped for the full Irish breakfast each morning. Delicious! This was also a great base for visiting nearby sites such as Kilkenny, Waterford and New Ross.

Very nice little cottage with everything you need. Authentic irish little house,parking just outside. A great experiance. Owner even left us a food, milk,bread,butter and jam. All in all, superb.

    The location was ideal nice and quiet too. Apartment was absolutely spotless and spacious. The hosts were very nice to talk to and had a nice chat with them. Would recommend to everyone to stay here as I enjoyed every minute of my 3 night stay. Could not fault the apartment at all, for me as a solo traveller it was perfect.

    The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and straightforward. The apartment was beautiful, tasteful, and very clean. Everything you needed for your stay was there. Nothing was too much trouble for Michael and Sheila. Beautiful quiet location. It's very handy for the railway station. Would not hesitate to book again in the future.

    I liked the location, size of the property, availability of appliances and cleaning items. The bed is extremely large and was super comfortable. The property was very clean and there were sanitizers by the front door. There was an extra lounge area with TV downstairs. Very spacious apartment. Although in the same house, the host was totally secluded from us. They have a lovely garden too and did not mind me sitting there for a bit enjoying the marvellous views.
