I loved everything about this stay. Firstly, Mr Guha and his wife were more accomodating than I could have imagined. I rolled in last minute at 2am and they were there to check me in. They gave me food, breakfast, ordered my Ubers for me, and even helped me with some admin after I’d checked out and left Kolkata. Secondly, the space itself is so beautiful, full of cute artworks and homely things. I felt right at home, and this will be my Kolkata home going forward. Thirdly, the neighbourhood is so cute! It’s a real authentic Indian locality. Colourful, friendly, green, and not far from the airport. I prefer it over the centre of Kolkata which is pretty difficult to navigate (busy, dirty, etc). Especially given the price, this is the best value stay in Kolkata, I’m sure.
