Its a newly established hostel which was suggested to me by another friend of mine! I was a little apprehensive about trying out a new place while in India! But gosh...I was so pleasantly surprised and my apprehensions were proven wrong! This place is different. The people, their warmth, humility, professionalism and the atmosphere they create...is a breath of fresh air. Having experienced countless hostels around the world, I think this place deserves the praises! Ritu, at the front desk, made me feel so welcome! Ranaji, as he likes to be called, is fun and I enjoyed jamming with him in the cafe...Anuj looks stern but once you speak to him, he is fun...he ensures the hostel operates flawlessly. All these people make it a safe haven for solo women travellers! Stayed only for one night this time but I'm definitely coming back here soon! I'll have more to write then. Hasta Luego Amigos. Volveré seguro! God speed.

All the staff is super kind, friendly and caring. They are always keen to help and to accommodate any requests. The hostel has many wonderful paintings made by a local artist. Shiv Shakti is a beautiful place. It is a little off road, which for us is great as it meant a quieter space. Ram and his family were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are clean and comfy, the garden and the hang out space are peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the morning yoga too. This is a great place if you like nature, and quiet mornings to meditate and watch the sunlight slowly fill the valley.

stay at lamrin hotel was great! the staff is excellent! I felt at home! very tasty food. At the same time, they didn’t cook for me according to the menu, but exactly what I wanted and asked for. 3rd floor room is good. and I had a whole roof where I dined in the evening! special thanks to Kuldeep Negi! wonderful and kind person! unforgettable place! definitely recommend to visit!

Atmosphere is very friendly,interior design is manifesting . People over there are extremely polite and gentle. Would like to travel again and again as i am so fascinating about this place.
