Fantastic Property, Lovely Host, Nice Breakfast, Can highly recommend for people to stay in a remote location yet still access Westfjords and Snaefellsnes Peninsula in one go

Nice location

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The property is located in a beautiful isolated location with magnificent views of the mountains and valleys. Peaceful and serene! The rooms are spotlessly clean, well furnished with soft comfortable beds and beautiful linen. The dinner was delicious and the included breakfast provided much in variety and quantity. Above all, the owner is friendly helpful and informative. She was very understanding of an awkward situation we had and went out of her way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Exceptional place in a peaceful location off the beaten path. Cozy rooms with modern amenities, including a fantastic bed and shower. The host was kind and attentive, and even went out of her way to get us some ice from her neighbor. The breakfast was our favorite of the whole trip, especially the homemade waffles! We can't wait to return next time we visit Iceland.

The property is modern and has a great scenic view. Very peaceful rural setting. Great location to explore beautiful Snaefellsness peninsula. We even drove 3 hours from here to the amazing Dynjandi waterfall in the West Fjords, possibly the best waterfall in Iceland and worth a day trip if you like waterfalls! The staff were friendly and helpful recommending many nearby attractions. Option of breakfast / dinner if needed is useful. Black out blinds appreciated!

Dalahyttur Lodge has a wonderful location and the owners were extremely nice and helpful. Both the pizza for dinner and the breakfast were delicious.
