The apartment is new, and this is visible from the entrance. Very clean and perhaps one of the best equipped accommodations I have stayed in, this apartment is located 15-20 minutes walk from the city center and I think this makes it a good option for those who want to discover Reykjavik.

The apartment was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had to change our plans several times due to unforeseen issues, and our host was unbelievably flexible and accommodating every step of the way. Helena is an exceptional host that genuinely cares about her guests. The ease and communication when checking in was just what we needed after long international flights. The apartment was safe and secure while homey at the same time. The location is close to public transport and walking distance to the botanic gardens and shops. We made two stays at Helena's Studio during our trip to Iceland, which was a welcoming treat to have a comfy bed, hot shower, and the added bonus of a washing machine to start out next journey after a week of trekking within the Central Highlands. We would highly recommend staying here and plan to return on our next trip to Iceland. Thank you!

Property is a fantastic looking comfortable place especially for someone like me who was solo travelling. A great location with a lovely little pizza place (amongst other shops) not too far away including a 24hr supermarket a 15 min walk away. You are pretty much a straight 20 min walk away from the ‘centre’. The facilities provided were exceptional as well, it’s the perfect little base of operations for eating in and saving a bit of money whilst planning my day/night. Excursion groups can pick you up from this hotel as well with no problems.
