Very intimate, there is a communal kitchen with a refrigerator where you can do any kind of cooking. There is no need to wear shoes in the public area, so it is very clean, the bed is more comfortable, and the surroundings are very quiet. Only the sound of waves and seagulls can be heard when the window is opened. It is a very pleasant hotel.

The room was super comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom was roomy. The bed was perfect and the room was big. The location was a bit weird, above offices or bank, but the neighborhood was quiet and some restaurants were near by.

Grundarfjördur Hostel is just a short five-minute drive away several restaurants, including one where we stopped called Kaffi 59, and Kirkjufellsfoss, one of the highlights of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The shared living area and kitchen were spacious, with plenty of light, a refrigerator, and cooking facilities. Everything was clean and it was quiet at night even though there were other guests in the house.

Super comfortable place, and beautiful guesthouse! We booked a room with shared bathroom, and endend up having a private bathroom :) the room was super confortable, the kitchen was spacious and with lots of tools to cook, and the view was amazing! We saw great northern lights from our window. I recommend a lot!
