The hotel is quite large but in a small and quiet village on the hillside overlooking Sondrio town. The owner welcomed us directly and offered his garage for the motorbikes. He also ran the restaurant which was of a very high standard - the food and the service were excellent (actually the best we had during our whole stay in Italy) and the location in the very nice garden at the back of the hotel. Their were also always quite warm even with about -3ºC outside and snow. Wi-Fi worked good. Staff was very nice.
