This was by far our favourite place to stay while hiking the via degli dei. Maria and her husband were incredible, helping us get dinner when we arrived and organising a birthday cake as a surprise for my partner. The house is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious.

I stayed at Agriturismo Le Fonti after my Via Degli Dei hike and it exceeded all my expectations. The host and the entire property were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the bed was very comfortable — exactly what I needed after several days of hiking. The agriturismo is located in a stunning setting in the hills near Florence. The entire property is lovingly designed, and it is clear that the hosts put great care and passion into both the atmosphere and the operation of the place. The dinner was a true highlight — very delicious and made almost entirely from their own produce. The breakfast was also excellent and provided a perfect start to the day. Overall, an outstanding stay that I can highly recommend to anyone — whether you are finishing the Via Degli Dei or simply looking for a beautiful and relaxing place near Florence.

This charming hotel completely exceeded our expectations. What truly sets it apart is the soul of the place. You can see the love and effort the owners, two wonderful sisters, pour into every detail. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, recommending hidden gems of Tuscany and making sure we had everything we needed. One of the most heartwarming things was meeting other guests who have been returning to this hotel for 15, even 30 years! Their love for the place speaks volumes about the experience. We felt so welcome and at home, and we can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars too. We will absolutely be back!

    Beautiful and peaceful location, really friendly staff and room was very clean and well equipped. Incredible sunsets from the poolside! The massage bath in the room was a great feature and nice to have the spa on location. Restaurant was quite good but every option except one was meat so one to consider if you’re looking for vegetarian choices. It’s a long way (20 minute drive) from any other restaurants or supermarkets - we didn’t mind this and enjoyed the tranquility but if you’re less comfortable driving it might not be for you!

    Loved everything! Excellent location for the via Delhi die. Beatrice was so lovely and her apartment was perfect- beds were comfortable, flat was spacious, kitchen was well equipped. Hot water takes a little to heat up but Beatrice told us.
