Every little detail of the equiturismo is simply perfect! Being in the heart of Sicily took our breath away,visiting and driving in this amazing scenery is a must! The hosting family made us feel like part of their family,we are so grateful to get to know them a little ❤️ The homemade breakfast was so delicious. We are really thankful that we had this amazing experience in this perfect place.

Amazing experience. My host made me feel very welcome. He also showed me around the town and shared very useful info on where I can find everything. I also enjoyed some delicious wine from his well equipped fridge. I will never forget about this. And the view from terrace simply amazing. This place totally exceeded my expectations. Thank you for sharing a piece of true Sicily with me.

Everything was perfect. First the host family was very friendly and welcoming. And despite the language barrier we still had a great conversation. They were very flexible and waited for me arriving (I was hiking there) in San Giovanni Gemini and gave me a lift to the appartement and took me afterwards to local pizzeria. The apartment was very clean and super modern. By Sicilian standards it was also very quiet, good after a long day of hiking! It is located very central and on the way of the Magna via Francigena.

The apartment has everything you could possibly wish for and even more: two balconies both with wonderful views, a very bright, spacious and comfortable living room (with cosy lamplights), a nice bed, good shower, fully equiped kitchen, laundry facilities etc. Lisa was such a wonderful host. The communication went excellent, she was so welcoming and made La portella such a nice to stay at.

It is a really nice cabin with a wonderful outside space. You have all amenities inside, as well as a full kitchen area outside. You have all pantry items you need to cook. The bed is comfortable and there is airco for all cabin areas, although we did not need to use it. View from the cabin is nice. The host is very attentive and helpful! There are also two very sweet and cuddly cats visiting the cabin. I hope visitors continue to care for them.

The location was idyllic and secluded. The agriturismo is family run, and we met all three generations of the owners. They were very welcoming, and very knowledgable of the surrounding area. Accommodation interior was dated, but this added to the rustic charm of the place. Dining room was beautiful, and we had 3 evening meals there which were excellent, all using local produce. They have their own olive grove, and produce a bio olive oil, which was probably the best we've ever had. We didn't book with breakfast included, and just had a continental breakfast on the days we wanted. The swimming pool was great, we had the use of the table tennis and the billiards room which was full of family history, books and memorabilia. There was ample parking for all visitors. I would highly recommend a stay here, if you enjoy tranquility and being at one with nature.

The location was perfect. It was right in the square surrounded by many restaurants and right where the meeting location is to see the homes in town. The owner of the property is the best! She saw how stressed I was with parking and led me to the parking place she own. She also recommended and walked me over to a restaurant for lunch. She was great and quickly responded to any questions I had. She even went above and beyond to help me find alternative accommodation for my last day because this property was booked. The lady that cleans the property and watches over breakfast is the sweetest. Honestly I loved everything during my stay. Such a beautiful little town!
