Aside from the attractive and very comfortable room, there was a welcoming lounge for relaxing, and a generous breakfast was served in another. character-filled space.     The location was more than great, just a few meters from 'La Via degli Ulivi', beautiful trail to get to Assisi and Spello. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices with lots of homemade products as well! Not to mention the friendliness of the owners! And the hall with the fireplace!

    Beautiful, quiet location, very close to Assisi. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and relaxed staff who were available if needed but otherwise were not around. Lovely pool area and dinner. Note that is a bit of a steep winding road up to the property.

    I can’t praise Malvarina enough. Lovely secluded location on a hill outside Assisi. Wonderfully relaxing farm, run by a friendly and helpful family. Room was great with a fantastic view over the valley and sunsets. The food was fantastic - delicious set menu for dinner which changed each day. Home cooking at its absolute best! Wish I could have stayed longer.
