Piccolo Hotel San Valentino is set on top of a hill in the middle of the fairytale Val d'Orcia. Among cypress trees, olive groves and crete senesi. The Abbey of San Oliveto Maggiore is about a kilometre away. The hotel has a restaurant, but it closes in the evening, so it's completely quiet at night - the nearest village is several kilometres away. For breakfast we got everything we wanted: there was sheep's cheese, all sorts of spreads, yoghurts, prosciutto if you wanted it and several types of pastries. The room was not large but comfortable, the wi-fi worked, there are mosquito nets on the windows - although there are not many around the hotel, and the room is air-conditioned. We were able to visit a classical music festival in nearby Asciano. And of course all the staff were extremely friendly and willing to help.

We loved the house and the host was excellent. He met us at the scheduled time and recommended a restaurant that could not have been more perfect. He even helped us with the reservation. The house is right in the center, on the Via Francigena. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Two large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen.

Super stunning view, so beautiful Toscana landscape. Quiet and cozy house, rooms are so warm in deep winter. We woke up early to see the sunrise, it was so breathtaking. The owners are so nice, they welcome us like we are the member of the family. We had dinner and a breakfast in the family kitchen, top home-made Italian cuisine. The whole experience was so unique and special. Such a wonderful place to spend your vacation.

What a great little spot, not as busy as some of the adjacent towns, this Agriturismo was very comfortable, had a great view overlooking the adjacent valley and was set back behind nearby houses. very comfortable for a longer stay with full cooking and dining facilities, we wish we had stayed a few days longer.

Great house with fantastic view over the landscape of Toscana, very quite and relaxing atmosphere, very friendly hosts who let us stay in a big apartment with kitchen and terrace even we have booked a smaller room. At the evenings the hosts made us a delicious dinner! We will come again :)
