Quite a big apartment in a very quiet area. A lady came with keys and explained everything to us. We decided not to use the garage as there were free parking spaces just round the corner. There was no need to use the aircon. There was coffee and tea, pasta. the kitchen was well-equipped.

Lesa is a good place to stay without the bustle of the busier towns, but it requires transportation to travel along the Lago Maggiore. Stresa can be reached after a short drive. We had a very lovely stay at Casa Carlotta. The apartment is very modern, perfect for a couple, and has been furnished to a high standard. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We could see the lake, which is a 15 minute walk away. The parking is nearby and free. Lesa is a very pretty town within striking distance of many other beautiful towns and cities.

    The location is exceptional. We had a room with a balcony and a lake view, and it was fantastic. The room was comfortable and clean. We extended our visit to enjoy more of the place and the manager kindly accepted . (Note: No kettle or fridge in the room.) Ceiling fan works well for hot summer days. Delicious fresh pastries were available on the breakfast table from 7-9 AM. The staff and manager were friendly, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. There is free parking in front of the hotel, and the place is dog-friendly.

    The location was good for us as we are happy to walk to places, there were good public transportation options and a decent supermarket close by. The pool was a good size for swimming on the days the weather was nice enough to. The gardens were huge and well kept. The host was very friendly and available to us when needed.

    Simple but clean and cosey hotel. Situated almost direct at the Laggio Majore. The room I stayed in was rather "retro" like the rest of the hotel, but the bed was good, the shower worked fine and everything was very clean. The hotel has also a restaurant. Breakfast was simple, but good enough. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has its own parking place at the opposite of the road. Traffic noise is hearable but limited.
