    Herol Mountain Retreat is really exceptionell. And we can highly recommend this location. The staff (family) are so nice and gentle. Helpful with every questions we had. The rooms are really nice, quiet. The Restaurant was excellent. Most products (Meat, jam, vegetables, grain/cereal products) made by their own. And the Spa was wonderful after a great hiking tour. We´ll come back.

    What a unique hotel! Beautifully located, nicely decorated, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Stunning views from the balcony, lovely well-kept surroundings, very good dinner and breakfast, friendly and professional staff. The owner proposed us to park the motorcycle under the roof in the stable as there was a storm coming. Definitely one of the greatest hotels that I've every stayed in. Will definitely come back!

    The views and the room was lovely. The location : it is in the middle of nowhere so be aware you are stuck with dinners. We booked the dinner And when asked what was in the menu we were told it was a surprise. Well it was a closed menu with risotto and venison. I am a vegetarian so they brought me some kind of veggie patties (not great) a d my kids paid the full rate so around €200 for the dinner.
