The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It is quiet and overlooks a field and has secure parking. It is in easy walking distance of pizzerias, gelateria and restaurants and a short drive to 3 supermarkets, more restaurants and a wonderful dolciaria. Altedo is perfectly placed to explore the Emilia-Romagna region. It is half way between Bologna and Ferrara, each a half hour or less drive away. It is in easy driving distance of Modena, Cremona, Mantua, Verona, Padua, Ravenna and the charming coastal canal towns of Chioggio and Comacchio. From Ravenna it is a short drive to San Marino, an independent hill state in the heart of Italy. We would like to thank Fabio for being such a helpful, kind and generous host, he even found a nurse to dress a deep cut on my wife’s hand.

The landlady and owner of the house are very hospitable and sweet people. They waited for us even though we checked in very late. The house opens into a wonderful garden. The breakfast consists of very rich, high quality and delicious products. We were very satisfied. If we are in Bologna, it is definitely a place we will visit again.

The owner was very very quick to answer to my messages and happy to help me. The check-in and check-out is very clearly and easy explained, the apartment is super clean and tidy, is very confortable and cozy, is designed with everything you need for a short or long stay. Lovely place with lovely people! Unfortunately we only stayed for 3 nights, but we enjoyed every second of it with our son and dog. We loved the area, the food, drinks, the two pools and especially the people. Lovely place and it feels a bit like home-coming!

    They offer late check-in till 23.00 which is very convenient. All the rooms are very charming and the property is in a nice location in the middle of the countryside. It is very peaceful there, no traffic, in the morning you can take a walk around the nature, if you want.

    The property is located in a very quiet area with a beautiful landscape and only 30mins away from Bologna. The staff is extremely kind and caring. Our room was super clean and the view was amazing. Perfect location to go on walks, sit in the garden and try some home-made Lambrusco. We got pampered with a huge breakfast with local products and fresh coffee. What a shame we only stayed one night :)

    Nice location, nice building - located in the middle of fields. Birds singing in the morning and a lot of pheasants wandering around the property. Quite magical evening and morning. Navigation necessary to find it.

    Elisabetta most welcoming collecting us in very wet conditions from the bus and looking after us really well. Beautiful house and gardens-great character with wonderful paintings. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. Agriturismo within walking distance of bus. Excellent breakfast and lots of home produced goodies.
