Our room in Villa Crapolla was super cute! The room was very clean and has a beautiful terrace with a stunning view! Location is also great and near other touristic cities like Naples, Pompei, Positano, Amalfi ... But our host made this vacation on Villa Crapollo perfect! He was such a nice person and every morning we had delicious breakfast on our terrace! Thank you again on everything and for sure we would highly recommend stay in Villa Crapolla!

Excellent location! Excellent Host!! Excellent Chef!! Mamy Lucia was just exceptional, from the smallest of detail to make your stay as comfortable it could be. She was bang on! Literally felt like home, exactly how mother is, she is just amazing. Very warm, smiling throughout, very helpful, very knowledgeable. Coming again next year, and would stay back with her. Also, the best part about her villa is that the bus stop is right in front of her Villa, so commuting anywhere is not a challenge at all.

The place is awesome... calm... real.. personal. Easy to move through Amalfi coast and mountain by bus or car... not by foot of course. Fely and Umberto are available all the time. Good beds, nice dining room, little village with no charming tourist traps. The kitchen is useful and complete... it's a place for travelers that want to be close to real Italian people.

The villa is old with very thick walls and has character. You are away from the main crowds in Sorrento but can easily access there when you want. we hired a car so could do a quick 20 minute drive to have a wonder around the beautiful old town. the villa is near a small village with great pizzeria/ trattoria - a camerrella which we really liked. We took all of the recommendations from our host Danelli and they were all excellent. if you want great personal al service away from the crowds the. this is a great place. The weather wasn’t great for the week we stayed but we loved the place, the hospitality, the people the food the scenery and pretty much everything. didn’t want to go home!

Excellent family-run hotel. Perfect for a relaxing stay, far away from busy tourist areas. Located at the seaside, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was amazing. We’ve also tried the Michelin star restaurant, great culinary experience. The family that runs the hotel as well as staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay at Taverna del Capitano.

Definitely on the higher price side but hands down an amazing hotel, staff is super nice and helpful, the restaurant of the hotel is just incredible and the infinity pool with the views of Capri are worth the spending to start with. Love that it is in a segregated place, outside of Sorrento and you get all the benefits of the closeness to Sorrento, the Amalfi coast, Capri and Naples.

    Amazing location within a lemon tree orchard. Tasty, fresh breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. Quiet at night. Really good, cheap dinner. Away from the chaos and crowds of the most popular Amalfi coast spots, but well located to reach all of them reasonably quickly. You can even just walk down to the local harbour and board boats to Capri and other day trip destinations.
