Its pricy as you only get the room. No svimingpool, spa or other high end hotel services you would expect. But what you do get you cant replace with unnessesary junk. You are visiting the dolomites - go hike! What you need is some really fantastic velmade food from the chef who makes the best carbonara outside rome (he used to work in rome), when you get Home after a day in the mountain. We NEVER eat at the hotel restaurant - but in Cortina this is the best price/value and service. A receptionist who gives you a hug when you pay hotel tax :-) and a smile every we meet, a perfect designed hotel experience in every detail, the most fantastic view in the room and the restaurant, helpfull and friendly Morning staff who gives you advice on where to go depending on the weather and least but not last the dynamic evening duo: Andrea and Roberto. The perfect examples of professional evening hosts. Roberto with his excellent service - at the same time professional and personal - and making things happens and Andrea the magician who made actually professional magic tricks. Impressive and the perfect match enjoying the quality wine list. Just go!

It may not be the best time to stay in Cortina, as the town is currently very busy preparing for the Winter Olympics. Construction and roadblocks are everywhere. We originally booked this BnB because there was a bus station right downstairs, with buses connecting to many main attractions. However, due to the ongoing construction, the bus station has been relocated, and it now takes about 12 minutes to walk there. We only learned about this change through the bus website two weeks before our departure and only realized the full impact upon arrival. This was a bit unfortunate. I assume the bus station will return to its original location once construction is complete, especially since there are many new hotels nearby. Because of all the work, both the view from our BnB and our access to downtown were affected. As for the BnB itself, it’s very spacious. If you like old European furniture, you will definitely love it here. The place is cozy and clean, and you can cook and do laundry. The host is super helpful and responds promptly to any requests. Instructions are clear, though you should be mindful of the water pressure. For example, if you are doing laundry, you can’t use water in other parts of the apartment at the same time. Also, wait about 30 seconds for the shower water to heat up. The shutters can be raised, and I encourage you to open them all when you check in to let the beautiful sunlight shine through the flat—it makes a huge difference compared to when the shutters are down. It would be nice if a few extra toilet rolls could be provided, although I believe the host would immediately supply them if needed. Another good thing about this BnB is the reliable Wi-Fi, elevator, and access to YouTube, which are helpful for luggage and trip planning. If you are staying in Cortina, I would recommend the restaurant La Tavernetta di Cortina. Their pasta and service are really good!

Amazing location, in the middle of nowhere with some shelters around you can walk to for lunch or just a coffee/snack. Lots of trails to choose from and good spot to head for Tre Cime, lake Sorapis or lake Wildsee trails. Food is amazing, spa facilities huge and very well prepared with 3 types of sauna.

Absolutely amazing place, not only hotel inside but its surrounding too! My room was so nice, clean, warm and well equipped, with a view of mountains from both windows. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was excellent too. Parking is big and wide, it was easy to find a place. Cannot wait to come here again one day! 🙂

We arrived to this beautiful location after a looong drive and we experienced great hospitality. Despite our late arrival , our friendly hosts served a delicious dinner. The room had comfortable beds, a spacious balcony, a clean bathroom, fresh towels. This place offers great value for the money in my opinion and I wish we could stay longer.

    Essy checkin and checkout. Location is without words beautiful. Wonderful rooms, nice decorations, excellent bed, outstanding view from window and balcony. Good bathroom. Very clean. We had an excellent sleep. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Food and drinks are a lot of fun and joy. The team and people are outstanding, genuinely friendly, excellent service.     Location is just a great starting point for our MTB tours. Newly renovated rooms - spotless clean - everything there what is needed. Nice SPA incl. Sauna was ready when we arrived after a long day in the mountains. Very friendly staff / probably owner family. Full Italien Dinner was was delicious.

    Location is absolutely amazing and it’s very close to all the main attraction spots! Our room was very clean, cozy and had a breathtaking panoramic views! A massive thank you to Mr. Nicola, he was very helpful and a brilliant host! He has great knowledge around the area and just overall very pleasant to talk to!!! Breakfast was also exceptional! 100/10 would book again! Best stay ever! Grazie mille Hotel Sorapis :)

    We went in February so the lake was frozen , so it was a totally different sight to watch. The location is pretty amazing with a few restaurants nearby. The hotel had an amaizng breakfast spread and the best bit was the hot chocolate and the latte. it was PERFECTLY BREWED! Kind staff and very clean. A very cozy common room with a great fireplace.
