Our stay at Monamea was one of our best during our holiday. A little out of town, very peaceful, with a garden and table outside to sit and relax and eat, and a wonderful host, it is a perfect overnight stop or even two nights to rest a little more. The room and bathroom are large and well appointed, the kitchen is ideal for small meals.

We had the pleasure of staying for four nights, and from the moment we arrived, Francesca and her husband welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. They offered thoughtful recommendations for restaurants, wineries, and nearby towns in the Chianti area. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered some real gems that we might have otherwise missed. Each morning also began with a delicious breakfast, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable day. The property itself is beautifully maintained—immaculately clean, with charming and comfortable rooms that made us feel right at home. The pool area was a peaceful haven, perfect for unwinding in between exploring the region. Whether you're looking for a base to explore Tuscany or simply a serene escape, Casale La Gora is a wonderful choice.

The location was great but you would need to hire a car, although there is a bus stop not far from the entrance. The ambience was tranquil and peaceful with beautiful views. I didn't try the pool but it looked great. The food was superb and the staff and Manager Manuela were so warm, helpful and welcoming.

Very calm place with a beautiful view over the hills. We enjoyed the swimming pool where there wasn't crowded. Big room with very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. It was better than on the pictures and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you Anna for the stay

    We had a lovely 3 nights in this apartment..A spectacular location with fabulous views. The apartment was comfortable and reasonably well equipped. We never met the host but her mother was around and always helpful, although she did not speak any English. The host was very responsive via Whatsapp and she was very helpful in posting a Kindle that we mistakenly left behind.
