My time at Aretusa Vacanze was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, it stands out as the best accommodation experience I've had in over 13 years. The hotel, housed in a beautifully maintained Baroque building, offers spacious and impeccably clean rooms with a charming Sicilian historical touch. Its ideal location in the heart of Ortigia, close to the sea, main attractions, Piazza Duomo, and the outstanding rooftop breakfast contribute to a memorable stay. Lastly, Stefano, the generous and super-friendly owner managing with his family this family-oriented hotel, adds a special touch to the overall experience.

The property is outstanding both with its luxurious decor and commodities! The room, felt more like an apartment; very airy and spacious! Everywhere and everything was spotless and the attention to little details made our stay even more enjoyable! We were greeted by Paolo who takes care of guests in the afternoon and Pamela who is usually around in the mornings! Both were extremely kind and passionate about their roles making us feel welcome instantly. The wellness centre located on the lower floor of the villa added a brilliant element to the place, where one could unwind and relax upon return! The villa is set slightly apart from the hustle of the town centre yet very close to restaurants and many places worth exploring in the area like Ortygia which is only a 10 min drive away! Definitely worth it! Would definitely stay here again should I revisit Siracusa. It is advisable to have a car though!

The professionalism, very clean and top-notch room, friendliness of the staff (especially Siria), and overall experience. Just watch your head if you're tall when entering the building as it has that old style italian door that are very short. Other than that, it's fully renovated and brand new.

Everything. From the location, the friendly staff, comfortable beds, cleanliness of the room, amazing view, attention to detail regarding facilities you may need (ex. you can rent a towel/sun umbrella for 1€ per day so you dont need to buy one, you can buy additional breakfast, water, coffee etc.) They also let us leave our luggage for couple of hours, so we can wander around Siracusa. Basically perfect!

    The location was ideally located within a 5-25 minute walking distance of many points of interest. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast options were generous and the coffee delicious. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and they accommodated our special requests. As a bonus, the restaurant just downstairs served the best pizza in Italy at incredibly low prices.

    Excellent location. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Sightseeing was very easy from the apartment. It was good to watch the sunsets. Very clean and comfy. The terrace was lovely, especially as we had booked both rooms, so we had the terrace to ourselves. Concise and clear instructions for entry to the apartments. The app was extremely useful. The map showed our location when we were out and about. We booked a taxi from the recommended service and it was very reliable and cheaper than from a taxi rank.

    Great location, very clean and extremely spacious apartment, had wonderful amenities and treats (thank you!!), a separate living area, kitchen and more. The bed was extremely comfortable! Not a major deal but the shower didn’t have a door so some of the water may spill over but the towel as a floor mat helped. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic and the host was wonderful too!
