Casa in Chiana is a lovely apartment and only a short walk to the old town (10 - 15 mins). The host, Marco, greeted us with a big smile and was very welcoming and kind, showing us where to park, and familiarising us with the apartment. The owners put a lot of thought and care into making their guests feel at home, providing information about the local area attractions, restaurants and activities, toiletries, kitchen supplies and provisions to get you started (such as coffee, tea, milk, water, juice, yoghurt etc.). Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of local pastries and fruit! We were offered some Ciambella (Italian breakfast cake) to try and it came with a lovely explanation of this traditional sweet. We visited during the Palio dei Somari and could not have asked for a more comfortable or enjoyable stay.

Absolutely marvellous room with a splendid view over the valley. Breakfast was served in a café down the street and was excellent. We were greeted super friendly and enjoyed everything. The host provided excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner.

    It's perfect location when you travel with a car. Without car it can be a little bit difficult to get there from the train station. But overall place and terasse are very comfortable organized. And Host is very helpful and nice.
