The Apartment is really nice, clean, well kept and looked after. Host really nice and accomodating he let us leave our luggage. Location very good literally one minute walk to the train station. Basic supermarket a few minutes walk away. Lakeside and ferry 5 minutes walk. Great base to explore Lake Como. Restaurants, bars and takeaways all in walking distance. Great to have outside space after a busy day. Varenna and Lake Como particularly nice early in a morning and on an evening. My advice if you are visiting in August get up and early before people arrive in large numbers via train from Milan.

The place is basically brand new, very clean, the location is awesome. If you travel by car, there is a mutli-level parking right across the street (2.05m height limit; it is often full in the mid day, in the evening you can find a spot). If you want breakfast, the hotel next door serves a great breakfast for 30 EUR.

It’s a wonderful spacious apartment with a great view and plenty of space to chill and watch the sunset. Sara was very helpful and responsive throughout our whole stay. Place has all the needed amenities and equipment, we didn’t need anything. Now, with the summer train cancellation getting around has become much more easier: bus substituons go every 15 minutes and the bus stop is just 5 min walk from the apartment. That allowed us to travel around fast and stress-free. The famous Villa Monastero is just 20 min of lazy walk, very convenient.

    Staying with Renata and Antonio was like staying with Nonna and Nonno. They were charming and friendly. They take pride in being good hosts. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty. The location was ideal for exploring Varenna, and easy access to the ferries for seeing the rest of Lake Como.
