The owner of this Hostel Is very helpful. He offered to pick us up at the JR station as we arrived very late at Shingu. He also allowed us to leave the luggage in the hostel so that we can go hiking with the backpack only. For the room, it was very clean and tidy. In short, it was a very pleasant stay and I will recommend this place to the future travelers

Beautiful old-style guesthouse right next to Hayatama Taisha. The location is absolutely amazing. Hayatama Taisha is literally steps away from the front door. There are river views from the room and the tatami floor rooms are beautiful.

Light and airy. Central to everything including just a short walk to the Shingu train station and it was super easy to catch a bus to go to the Nachi Taisha Grand Shribe. We literally walked 50 metres down the road to catch the Number 11 bus, then had a coffee at Nachi Station cafe and caught the number 31 bus to the shrine. So simple. Oh and there’s a cafe with a 50s milk bar theme up a few side streets that serves amazing pizzas with a Japanese twist - try the Teriyaki chicken pizza - Yummo

Although we only stayed for 1 night, Piko-san took really good care of us. Everything was perfect ! Thank you so much for your warm welcome, and the talk and karaoke ! We wish we could have stayed longer ! <3

Really the best thing you can expect from a hostel. Rooms were good, toilets and shower was good. Kitchen was nice and location also very close to the train station. The owner is one of the nicest and most positive people I have ever met and really takes care of his guests. Will 100% come here again if I am ever in the area.
