Just perfect! This place was waaaay better than I imagined, the pictures and the description on booking.com do not do justice to how amazing and lovely this place is; perfect location with the most gorgeous view, homely environment with the most exciting entertainment stuff in the lounge (you could spend days there with books and mangas and games and even just the view) Incredible staff with fluent English, friendly and helpful, everything provided generously, unimaginably clean! and both indoor and outdoor onsens are just heavenly! I couldn't have wished for a better place

The room was spacious and luxurious with a traditional Japanese feel. The staff was really kind and helpful. We booked our stay with dinner and breakfast included and that was the best choice, both was delicious and a great experience. Both the public and private onsen experience was amazing. I would definitely book Mount View Hakone again the next time we come to Japan :)

Very cosy vibes, was a lovely retreat at the end of a day exploring hakone. Common room is gorgeous and loved sitting by the fire with my book at the end of the day. Great location if you have the Hakone Free pass for public transport etc. Staff were exceptionally friendly.
