WOW! This place is wonderful! One of the most beautiful places I've stayed during my month in Japan. I am only sorry I had just one night, would like to stay longer. Easy to find, all necessary amenities, fully equiped kitchen with traditional ceramics dishes and all electronic appliances you could imagine. AC heates the room well. Shower quite big. Everything spotlessly clean. Emergency food available, since there are probably no shops nearby. Drinks too. Tea & good coffee for free. Boardgames available. The house is designed in an old traditonal japanese style with tatami floors. I was amazed. It looks even much better than on the photos. The staff speaks english, which can be quite useful after an exhausting day on the bike :)

We spent two nights here-- good shower, well-heated rooms, excellent location, and an absolutely darling host. She made us dinner reservations and dropped everything to help us make phone calls when we were looking for a missing item. Felt like staying with my own grandmother!

An authentic home restored beautifully by Dani and Evan! The touches of original furniture and vintage furnishings really set this house apart from anywhere else I have stayed in Japan. Dani and Evan were so welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local activities and restaurants. A perfect stop half way along the Shimanami Kaido Cycle Route. Incredibly Kind Hosts! Very nice Place to stay and the ability to rent Bikes with Them. Awesome suggestions to visit places nearby by Bike. Overall incredible. 12/10 definitively recommend.
