Needless to say it was super clean, comfy with everything you need (a fridge, kitchen and more). The owner is so caring and super friendly! Very nice guest house in yugeshima. Fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom as shared amenities. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is quite out of the way, but the host made sure to pick us up from the ferry and had bikes available to rent.

Wow! The Nomad Inn is fantastic! It is a real taste of old Japan, very nicely renovated to keep charming original features while providing modern comforts. The futon were really comfortable and the aircon was more than strong enough to keep us cool on a very hot day. The surrounding houses also reflect a different and more gentle age. The island is easy to get to with a car on a short (under 10 minutes) and cheap ferry trip from Innoshima, which is connected to the mainland by bridges. The ferry runs every half hour or twenty minutes depending on the time of the day, and the Nomad Inn is close by. Parking is very easy just behind the house. We went to an excellent izakaya in the evening called Aya after a great spa experience at FESPA, both a short drive away. We only stayed for one night as we had a busy itinerary but it would have been a great base to explore the other islands as well since it has a kitchen and washing machine. We hope to come back for a longer stay!
