This was a very positive experience. The room (end of the corridor) was plenty big enough for the two of us, allowing us to pack the three suitcases we had before sending them to the airport. Laundry facilities were clever, as you could see on your TV when a machine was available. Cleaning staff were exceptionally helpful - one day we asked for extra water as we were thirsty, and the lady remembered the following day as well. Reception team were professional but still friendly - you always get a better vibe in Tohoku in comparison to Kanto, in my opinion. Also, there was a microwave available near our room, which enabled us to cook proper meals when we weren't eating out. The bathroom was really nice, too - unusually spacious.

Great location, close by to many shops and restaurants, room was very clean on arrival and staff were very accommodating when we arrived extremely early to drop our luggage off before check in.

Interesting concept where everything is self-operated with clear instructions. However when I needed help, staff was readily available via a direct call at the counter. Room was spacious, and location was perfect along a shopping arcade. It is quite a walk from the station if you're carrying a big luggage though.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel GrandBach Sendai. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Sendai Station, making it very easy to access. The room was impressively spacious, providing plenty of comfort during my stay. The service was excellent, with staff being friendly and attentive to all my needs. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Sendai, and I highly recommend it!
